Psalm 138:2: in the Hebrew text states that meditating on and proclaiming God’s Word is even more important than praising God’s name.
Thru the years we have come to translations that don’t ‘quite’ make the point as well as maybe they should…take NKJV for example:
NKJV – Psalm 138:2 “I will worship toward the holy temple, and praise your name; for your lovingkindness and your truth; for you have magnified Your WORD above all your name.
So…”chewing the cud” of GOD’s WORD, and PROCLAIMING, His Word, His Promises, and “HIS” decrees from scripture is of utmost importance because our GOD, has raised His WORD, even above His name.
SO PROCLAIM THE WORD OF GOD, and MEDITATE on it, daily…it is the most important thing you can do, and brings you closest to God.
