So…who am I, why are you here and why should you pay any attention to what I have to say…in other words why should you “Like, Subscribe, Comment, Share, set up a Notify so you know when I post to YouTube, or Rumble, or add a Blog Entry; and why should you even visit my Website?  I’m just One Pilgrim among the many, travelling along the road of life, learning a few things and trying to share them; trying to show others, and be shown by them, the best path forward.

What will listening to me, watching me, reading my Musings…my Bible Studies…my opinions on the WORD of the LORD if you will…add to your already busy life. 

I don’t know, I can’t answer that one for you.  I can say that what I am going to do here is part Bible Study, part Bible conversation, small part Real World commentary, and part Prayer, letting the website build itself under the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we go along.  Join me, won’t you?  I’d say it’s free but that’s not really true; while I will NEVER Charge (sharing the knowledge of, and conversations about, God should always be FREE), your TIME … now that’s is worth a lot… 

Myself, I am retired from the “world’s” workforce, and have 2 ministries to fill my life – watching two oif my grandchildren nearly fulltime, and this website and my Podcasts…all dedicated to the Lord Jesus. I have a wife, kids and grandkids, I don’t posdt nearly often enough, I’m always trying to rectify that…LOL… So…what will you get from me: “Lesson Plans?”  A “prepared Sermon,” no…although those are all good things, I have always spoken better more extemporaneously, a few notes in front of me to keep me on topic, a few quotes maybe, but mostly just me and the WORD of GOD.  Reaching out continuously to the LORD in Prayer, and following the guidance of Holy Spirit, I Muse about what I have learned and share it with you. Anyway, I am most definately not a typist, or a website builder, so the work is laborious, but I Love It!….LOL.

And if I’m not your cup of tea, if my ‘style’ isn’t for you, there are other places you can go, endless Blogs and Videos and Sermons and Prayer Channels; no worries and no insult taken. My only goals here are to Glorify God and maybe to spark or further fire up “your” interest in the conversation along the way…and you do your own research, add to the Musings thru comments, and we all grow on the Journey Home…and maybe we add a few (or many!) to our number travelling the narrow road…

I’m going to try to give you something of substance to take with you each time as my contribution; some real “Meat” to chew on…Yes, I said “Meat,” you should know I am a member of PETA:  People Eating Tasty Animals!  Yes, as GOD clearly told Noah in Genesis 9:3 “Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.”

See, there I go…off on a tangent…

Anyway, my goal is to take you deeper on subjects that have interested ‘me,’ and maybe will interest you.  First Topic…which went over several muses, was the “Names,” and therefore the Characteristics, of GOD.

In the WORD, Names are often a description of character.  Especially the Names of GOD, they tell us who HE is.  When you honor God’s Name(s), you honor God, as Matt 6:9 tells us in the first line of the Lord’s Prayer:

Our Father who are in Heaven, “Hallowed” be thy name. 

Hallowed…Holy…Exalted.  The Bible commands us in the Ten Commandments, in Exodus 20:7 that:

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

So, if you would be so inclined as to “Read, Watch, Like, Share, and/or SUBSCRIBE” to my YouTube (or Rumble) Channel; or continue to vist my Webpage and Blog regularly, well, you can start by taking a look at Names of GOD Blog entry, or many others; the Names of God starts with three Primary Old Testament Names for God:  Adonai, Elohim, and Jehovah (YAHWEH, YAH, YHWH); and then some Old Testament “Compound Names of God,” such as Jehovah-Jireh, etc. and what they add to our Glorious Lord’s characteristics.

So…why the Names of God as a Starting Point? Well, sadly, English Translations of the Scriptures often just throw “GOD” in everywhere as a generic term, and so you may not see some of these Names, and therefore characteristics, outlined as they should be to give us deeper understanding. We lose some of the honor that GOD deserves.  So join me, won’t you, as we take a little deeper look at who GOD himself tells us HE is.  Thank You for indulging me, please, let us Pray:  Gracious Father, as I begin this attempt to EXALT YOU, take ALL the GLORY for YOURSELF: You the Potter, Me the clay. May your Holy Spirit burst forth from within me, leading me, and any who listen – to the TRUTH, for thy WORD is TRUTH.  In the Almighty name of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus, Messiah), Amen. (Often my Blog entries will not include the specifics of a prayer, because I take no notes to build those Prayers from, they are always off the cuff if you will…led by the Spirit. So I simply would ask that when you read a Blog and it says “Prayer,” pleae stop to Pray…for enlightenment, for “me,” for YAHWEH’s Psalm 91 protection promise along our journey Home.
