Folks, lets be “perfectly” honest for a few minutes. All this ‘Man/Woman on the street-level “AI” is NOT AI. Truth is, as of yet, there is NO “AI.” What you are interfacing with is the same “Card Catalog” used in your parents day in a “Library.” All they’ve done is dump all the data from those books into the computer’s memory, including things like ‘sentence structure’ and ‘grammer,’ etc. Then a few very high level queries of that database, give you your “supposed” AI…which is NOIT AI.
The DANGER here, is that whoever is dumping the DATA into this controls both what data goes in, AND, because they set the queries up, what your answers are.
Meaning: for simple answers that don’t have an “agenda,” your answers are probably OK, but no different than you could find yourself if you weren’t lazy (modern lazy is WAY MORE lazy than old-fashioned lazy…remember, back when I was a kid writing papers, I had to go look all this up from hard cover books in a library by searching through Card Catalogs…today’s “lazy” doesn’t even want to enter a few extra keystrokes of questions…”mega-lazy”). So, for anything above simple questions, what answers do you get? You get PROPAGANDA, based on the views of whoever built the databaase and algorithms. That simple. You want REAL Answers, DON’T use today’s “FAKE AI,” do your own research…it’s only a few keystrokes away…
