Who is Mike Johnson and how did he become Speaker.
Proverbs 29:2 our anchor verse for today:
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.
First, “who” is this Congressman from Louisiana. Not his birthdate, etc., I mean his positions, his politics, his “worldview.” What should Patriot and a true Christian think about him. Well, I have good news; much prayer and study leaves my Spirit telling me this is a “God thing,” that HE had a hand in bringing about. All through the Old Testament God uses confusion in the ranks of the enemy to bring about a win…and he did that here, with confusion among the RINOs who were the problem. Stay with me, I’ll explain. Better to be right than first…things I’m gonna tell you here are the truth…not “my” truth, the truth.
- he’s pro-life
- supported President Trump’s executive order prohibiting immigration from Seven Muslim countries
- he fought for President Trump as a member of his legal defense team during both of his impeachment hearings
- he’s married with four children
- he’s a Christian
- he often leads prayers on the hill among his colleagues
- his mentor is Jim Jordan
- he voted for Jim Jordan for Speaker
- democratic advocacy group ‘Human Rights Campaign’ described him as Jim Jordan with a suit jacket and a smile
- he voted against certifying Joe Biden’s election
- he has been actively involved with the investigations into Joe Biden
- Mike Johnson has been a college professor and a conservative talk show host
- he’s an attorney with a focus on constitutional law who worked with religious groups like the “Alliance Defending Freedom”
- he was given an award by the “according to the demon-crats,” this is how they define them – the anti-lgbtq and Christian supremacist hate group, The Family Research Council!
- he has as an attorney defended teacher-led School Prayer
- Unlike many Congresspersons who rarely sponsor anything; Mike Johnson sponsored more bills that actually passed the House than the average Republican House member
So now, if Mike Johnson is so great why would the Deep State (the RINOs kept anybody from getting enough votes for Speaker – the RINOs are just another arm of the Deep State) even allow him to be speaker; do they know something that we don’t? That is a great question, and a legitimate question, after all, we didn’t know a lot about this guy. Most of us, me included, never really heard of him before yesterday. Maybe we saw him defending President Trump at Impeachment Trials, but he was just another Congressman. Mike Johnson isn’t and hasn’t been, a spotlight guy. You won’t get run over by him if you happen to walk between him and an approaching camera crew like you would many Congressmen. He is not that flashy attention seeker; posting on Tik Tok, on X (Twitter), Instagram or other places, saying outrageous things to get views or followers. He’s a low-key, WORKHORSE lawmaker who it seems from my research, and confirmed in prayer, to quietly believe and fight for all of the right things.
You need to know this: The first thing Speaker Designate Mike Johnson did the night he was elected, was to ask the Republican caucus to PRAY with him! This is exactly what we need at this exact moment and I thought that was just awesome. DJT has endorsed him.; saying “this guy Mike Johnson’s going to do really well: he’s popular, he’s smart, he’s sharp, and he’s going to be fantastic.
Maybe Mike Johnsons most glowing recommendation comes from none other than “Adam, “shifty” Schiff who wrote and posted this:
“you might be Googling who Mike Johnson is this morning – let me make it simple, Johnson is a hard-right pro-Trump election denier in the house. Sadly this is what passes for Speaker material in the Republican conference.” Folks – THIS is the best endorsement that Mike Johnson could get. Another ‘winner,’ RINO “Adam ‘crying’ Kinsinger” wrote of Mike Johnson – he led the lawsuit against the 2020 election and sparked the whole thing. Well, if Adam Schiff and Adam Kinsinger both suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome,’ both HATE someone – that’s the opposite of a red flag for me!
They are terrified that a true “Bible-believing” Christian might hold political office in America. As I have stated elsewhere and I’ll say again here because THIS did it for “me:”: on National TV, being interviewed by Sean Hannity (I saw a YouTube clip), and being badgered about just what was his “worldview” as a Speaker and as a man; Speaker Johnson’s comment was: ‘“You want to know my worldview – go home, OPEN YOUR BIBLE – THAT is MY WORLDVIEW! To which “I” say HALLELUJAH!!!
Now it’s true that Donald Trump endorsed Johnson, but he also endorsed Jim Jordan and honestly that’s probably one reason the RINOs tanked Jordan! So what happened with Jim Jordan and the others, why couldn’t they get a Speaker? Well folks, THIS is why you have to NOT be first with news, you’ve got to wait, let at least a little dust settle, then don’t be afraid to pull up the corner and look ‘under the carpet.’
Let me tell you what I’ve found out: Evidence points to Kevin McCarthy, the ousted former Speaker, although claiming NOT to want the job in public, was maneuvering in the background to gain back his Speakership. McCarthy was trying to block everyone and anyone else who could possibly get the vote. How do I know this…well, stay with me, I’ll explain, a few Congress people have let a few cats out of the bag, and we’re gonna add the cats up…LOL. As Congressman Tom Emmer (he was the 3rd guy put forward after Steve Scalise and Jim Jordan) was withdrawing because somebody dumped some info out on him, and he shrunk back into the background quickly. Anyway, he withdrew from the race and it looked like it would be a few more days of crying and moaning and “non-public” conference ‘secret ballots’ trying to get unity when Congressman Mark Molinaro a ‘moderate New York freshman’ (meaning RINO) Republican, stood up at the microphone and says: “well instead of restarting this process and sending everybody home for a good cry and waste more time, let’s just take a non-binding poll on where people would be on the person who came in second to Tom Emmer; and that ladies and gentlemen, was Mike Johnson.
Now ‘why,’ you are asking, would a RINO want to do this? You see, enough media uproar about the Republicans being unable to govern, was scaring the RINOs, kinda putting them off their game; it became more important for them to get someone in there, because they were afraid they’d lose THEIR seats in the next election. Me, I see “God” all over this…God loves creating confusion in the enemies ranks and letting them defeat themselves. All thru the Old Testament God did this in battles ancient Israel had.
Anyway, back to the story behind the story: Elise Stefonick, another NY Congress member who is on the “Rules” committee, said “well that’s against the rules. The rules don’t contemplate it, we can’t do that.” Now, for those who don’t know – get this – each House of Congress makes it’s own rules…yeah. Anyway, let’s stay outta that mess for today other than to admit, under the current House Rules, that was a correct statement. So Congressman Molinaro says then “I move for unanimous consent that the rules be waived and we take a poll on whether or not Mike Johnson could be our speaker nominee.”
Watch now, remember I keep telling you, we are in the season of the “reveal.” People are being shown for who they are.
Guess who objects to that unanimous consent request, why “Kevin McCarthy,” the guy who was ousted and “claimed’ he didn’t want the seat back. He stands up and say “I object” to the unanimous consent.”
You see, if you understand how Congress works these days; McCarthy wanted to go back, take a break, make some phone calls, scuttle the vote – this showed everyone that it was actually McCarthy who was working to knife Rep. Scalise in the back when he was running; Rep. Jim Jordan when he ran, but without the “break” where he could make phone calls and backroom deals you’d never hear about he was worried that
there was going to be this great unifying moment around Mike Johnson, so he “had” to openly scuttle the unifying moment. At this point, backfire, because everyone in the room knew at that moment that Rep. Matt Gates from FL wasn’t the force for chaos, the reason they couldn’t get a unifying Speaker vote for 3 weeks, the reason the House of Representatives had been paralyzed. No, it was a backroom scheme by Kevin McCarthy, who was ousted BECAUSE he did not do what he pledged to the Caucus to do…he betrayed them, Matt Gates was just the one who had the guts to call him on it. McCarthy wanted the power back, and he thought if he could keep stopping unity, that they would come back to him finally, and he’d act like the hero, reluctantly returning, but now having a freer reign to deal with the demon-rats – you see, McCarthy was/is a RINO, and a Globalist, not a Conservative. He was sabotaging the candidacy of anyone else because he was plotting a return.
You see, the Republican Caucus could only lose 4-maybe 5 votes on the Speakership, because they knew they would get no democrat votes and you need a simple majority. Because of his deep state ties, McCarthy has always been a good fund-raiser, so there were 4-5 McCarthy “loyalists” that he was promising things in in-between meetings and private phone calls, then after a couple days of arm twisting, he had successfully scuttled each vote. But now, just going directly to a second vote…he had to “show” himself, to speak against the Unanimous Consent vote and at that point, even the other RINOs caved and we ended up with a truly Constitutionalist-minded, Conservative Speaker. And I’m telling you Almighty GOD was pulling strings to once again “reveal” who people really are, so they can be dealt with. God letting ‘man’ be involved in His healing of our land! McCarthy was given a chance by God, and he did a few good things; but he slipped right back to being what he always was, a RINO.
He exposed himself as a deep state stooge and backroom deal-maker willing to stab his colleagues in the back.
So, now you know a little about the new Speaker; and right now I, at least, and I hope you as well, are cautiously optimistic about Speaker Mike Johnson; his credentials are impeccable, he is a brilliant lawyer, and the fact that the Democrats clearly hate him, well, what more could you ask for.
Will everything he does meet with high praise from each and every one of us…hey, nobody meets THAT bar. And will he get GOOD legislation successfully passed in THIS Congress; probably not, because the Senate, still controlled by the left, won’t allow it. But that’s OK, it will show everyone who THEY ARE; and it will STOP them, and Buy-Done from doing much more damage; and as God continues to HEAL OUR LAND, the good bills passed in the House, will already be written and ready to be placed back on the docket and passed. Keep watching folks, the BEST “is” yet to come, President Trump “is” returning, maybe in an election, maybe before…let’s let God be God, and stand on that Firm Foundation of Faith in Jesus, the Messiah as we watch God shake everything that CAN be shaken, worldwide…knowing WE cannot be shaken.
