Steps for Resolving to Overcome Fear

I have a collection of some notes I was taking while praying, reading, studying and then listening to a couple podcasts yesterday.

First, let’s get something straight:  fixing what’s so horribly wrong; did you honestly think destroying deeply entrenched evil would look “pretty?”  Seriously?!?!  Did ya??? Listen, God IS going to Rip Apart every plot, plan, and scheme of the enemy…you are watching that play out before your eyes, right NOW…but it’s like making sausage…it’s not meant to look pretty!  The “reveal” of what evil has been doing behind your/our backs is NOT a pretty sight!  God WANTS you to see it; and He has graciously allowed YOU to join Him in this WAR.  A reminder:  it is NOT God’s war against evil – God created Lucifer and all the fallen angels, with a Word He could remove them; for His own reasons, He has not.  No, the WAR God is fighting, is OUR WAR, and God knows we’ve strayed and need His help, desperately.  And He IS bringing it, but you need to SEE the evil as it is uncovered, crushed, and then sanitized by the “Son’s Light.”

So let’s talk about WAR for a minute.  2 acronyms (thank you Julie Green, heard these on her podcast, and they just kept bugging my spirit till I wrote them down).  What IS our job in this WAR that Father God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and God’s warring Angels are fighting for us and calling us to join the battle – what is our part and what does it cause:

W – worship A – and R – resist

Because then

W – wicked A – are R – restricted

So when you get attacked, WORSHIP, PRAISE GOD, resist and Pray against that attack specifically, take it immediately to God, with Scripture, and tell God:  ‘Lord, in Jesus name, I’ve laid the following issue before you and it just got WORSE!”  

The enemy always tries to stop or slow down our Blessings…but you throw it right back to God, reminding Him via His WORD, of His promises – one example – pray from Luke 8:28 which as you know, Luke wrote:

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

I’m keeping this generic because everybody’s issues are different…but your response should be the same; perhaps not in the scripture I used here, but another, but the method works!  Admit to God that the evil one is trying to steal your peace, admit that you’re struggling with it; then tell Him you are standing on His promises, and refusing the fear; choosing instead to TRUST God and His promises!  Give Him the issue, and Praise Him, Worship Him all the harder; it confuses and drives away the enemy; remember, he is trying to drive you FROM GOD, instead, run TOWARDS HIM!  Then, get up from your Prayer and put on some Praise music and worship, worship, worship, worship LOUD if you are somewhere where you can; and watch first your countenance change and be uplifted…and look, God’s blessings WILL come, perhaps in unexpected ways…

Now let’s move onto 8 steps for resolving to overcome fear within yourself and within others.

Obviously there are many more, but here are a few that came to your servant while I was studying and I just started taking notes; but hey, when I was done I had 8, so…perhaps we can call executing a few, or all, of these steps into your life “New Beginnings” after all, God’s number “8” signifies New Beginnings.

1. Remember to whom you belong!  You belong to Jesus, and thus, through our Redeemer and King of all Kings, you are a son/daughter of Almighty GOD, El Shaddai, the All Sufficient One!  El Elohim, YAHWEH, is your “Dad,” your Father, You belong to Jesus, you belong to the Great I AM!  No weapon formed against you can prosper (pray Isaiah 54:17 every day!); you have at your disposal the Armor Of God Himself to protect you from the enemy, and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah inside you, ready to ROAR with the power of the Holy Spirit within you!
2. Remember that “I AM” Himself, in the person of Messiah Jesus, who said if you’ve seen Me, you’ve seen the Father, said: “the Gates of Hell (meaning the plots, plans, and schemes of the enemy) will NOT prevail against His church, His EKKLESIA!  Now, an EKKLESIA in Jesus time, was NOT a religious term, it was a term that meant a Governmental Ruling Body – and if you think Jesus ever said anything not knowing what he meant to say…come on…you know better!  Jesus used THAT term, which over years got actually watered down to just meaning a ‘church gathering,’ He used it on purpose.  You think not?  Well, why then are YOU who know Christ called Kings and Priests unto our God and King…the King of Kings, JESUS!  You see, in Jesus day, there were kings over provinces and territories; all under an overall King.  Think King Agrippa who Apostle Paul spoke before, he was over an area; and Caesar was the overall Roman King he was under and responsible to.  Jesus used this term because He knew His Apostles would understand it.  So stop believing the lie that the lie that you are nothing; start believing the truth and live in the light of Father God’s truth – BE the Light of the World (Jesus light within you, shining forth), BE the Salt of the Earth and be “undefeatable!”  Think on this:  The most the enemy can ever do to you, is cause your “promotion!”  Make sure you remind him of that when he reminds you of your failures that Father God has already REMOVED; and while you’re reminding Him of that, remind him of his future…and go WORSHIP JESUS!
3. Spend more time every day in God’s WORD, in Prayer, in Worship (Am I sounding repetitive?  Good, means it’s getting through!) I have a question for you: Do you spend more time chasing “media stories” about world events?
   1. Focus on GOD, NOT the world!  It’s amazing how if you think about it, especially in Americans, ask yourself how much time you watched or researched “the news” in one form or another – mainstream TV news, radio, internet.  Then be honest with yourself in comparing THAT TIME with how much time you spent in God’s Word, in Prayer, in Worship and Praise.  I won’t embarrass anyone by asking you to admit or comment on the time difference – just CHANGE THAT BEHAVIOR!  By the way, I RARELY say “This sayeth the LORD” because I don’t get my messages from Him that way…but if He could scream any louder IN MY SPIRIT as I was first writing this, I think my head would have exploded!  I wrote this in pen on paper first, just note-taking at my kitchen table, and my hand was shaking, which doesn’t happen, and my Spirit was screaming: “Focus on ME!!! Not the world!”  Then, when you do see a news story; because I’m not saying don’t pay attention to news, I’m saying spend MORE TIME WITH ME than the world! Look for Me in the news; look for a “reveal,” look for a “suddenly” and KNOW that I am always at work on your behalf!  Don’t mourn the darkness, pray into it my Light, my Saving Grace, uplift those being attacked unrighteously, and KNOW that I hear you!  And Pray also for the repentance of those I am removing – they will see Justice here, in the natural; but I wish no one the eternity of Gehanna…pray they Repent, even now…leave the Justice and Vengeance to Me!  In the current day, today’s news should be today’s Prayers, nothing more!  Do NOT fear my children, the darkness isn’t for you, it’s for them!”
4. Ok, whoosh, point 4. Minister the Word of God, the Gospel, Jesus, into someone else’s life, everyone you come in contact with, in some way – putting your thoughts, your Heart, overflowing with the Joy of the Lord, into someone else’s life, will always lift ‘your’ countenance.  You want to lift your countenance, lift someone else’s, watch the pep it puts in your step, and the smile in your heart.
5. Speak God’s Peace into every situation:  if the enemy is showing you war, speak God’s peace over it, if the enemy is showing you sickness, speak God’s promises of Life and Health over it!  Remember Worship And Resist = Wicked Are Restricted!
6. Remember the words of Messiah Jesus in John 16:33:
   1. “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
   2. And remember the words of James 1:2-4:  My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
7. “BE” the Church, the EKKLESIA the Warrior for Christ that you were called to be and run TO, not from, the battle; save souls, rebuke the enemy.  Not calling for physical violence, but rather real resistance against “Wokeism,” because compromise with evil means only one thing:  evil wins.  You don’t compromise with evil, you defeat it.  How?  War in the Spirit; in Prayer against what God hates, and stand your ground in the natural, God IS your protector.  Yes, it is a WAR so I’m gonna say this because that time too, may be coming for some:  if necessary, make that first “Deacon” of the early church “Steven” proud to call you brother/sister; and make Jesus to stand from His throne to receive you. 
8. And number 8 – Remember please, your enemy is NOT the man/woman causing an issue; but the evil, the demonic principalities behind them; that they may not even realize they have succumbed to.  Do NOT hate your “enemy,” God doesn’t, He sent His one and only begotten Son to die for them.  Pray for their release from demonic authority, Pray for their Repentance.  Pray HARD for them; for even the worst of them, God does NOT wish Gehanna upon; nor should you.  There may be Justice netted out here, by God’s decree; but even a death penalty in the natural, is not condemnation forever…Pray for their Repentance, all of them, even now.

Well, if you paid attention, there is, of course, a reoccurring theme:  Get IN the WORD, PRAY, WORSHIP…the deeper the valley, the LOUDER the WORSHIP and PRAISE, and you just watch what happens!
